Welcome to the WCTC Canvas Orientation!

The aim of this ***START HERE*** orientation page is to provide you with the information you need to begin participation in your course. The WCTC Canvas Student Orientation course is an optional resource for your to begin exploring and learning more about the Canvas online learning system. You will use Canvas extensively as part of your learning in all courses at the college. This orientation will introduce Canvas navigation, communication tools, assignments and quizzes and other features frequently used by WCTC instructors.

We hope you find this orientation and the resources helpful and your success is important to us!  

Please note that you will need to login using your WCTC username and password to access any of the tools on the navigation menu on the left edge of the screen.

As part of this orientation, you are required to do the following:

Step 1: Meet your learning facilitator.
Explore this page to find details regarding your course instructor, their contact information and office hours. 

Step 2: Carefully review the syllabus.
The course syllabus contains important information regarding the course, learning outcomes, assignments, the course schedule, course policies, WCTC policies, and how to obtain help through our library, academic support, technology Service Desk, and student services areas.

Step 3: Review the course Modules.
All of your course content is available through the Modules area.
