Directions: Read the selection titled What a Ride. Once you have completed reading the selection answer the 4 STAAR formatted questions that follow. 

                                                                              What a Ride
(1) I rode a ferryboat for the first time in my life. (2)I was traveling from the parking lot to Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom, (3) After the captain launched the boat, I climbed to the second level. (4) I was surprised to learn that the gigantic ship taked six hundred people across the massive lake to the theme park. (5) Before long, my journey ended. (6) A worker connected the boat to the rail with a notted rope. (7) He does not want the vessel to drift away. (8) This new experience was truly magical.
